Coolant flush...broke hose, where is it supposed to go and what does it do?

So I was doing a coolant flush and one of the hoses broke. Its from the coolant overflow bottle, but I dont know where it leads to because it just saw it drop to the ground.

Im assuming that it is just an overflow tube which is supposed to be routed to the ground.

If it is, does it have to be a certain length to pass tech at the track? Or can I just route it securely facing the ground at this length? It used to be twice as long..

Its supposed to route out near the bottom of the bike....It probably touched the headers and melted off

That's only a vent hose. Just zip-tie it to something at the length it is now.

Shouldn't u be running water on the track?
I highly doubt water over flow onto the track would be a problem

I think that's why he was flushing his coolant out.

The bottom hose is inlet, the top hose is overflow for the overflow reservoir.

just the overflow hose, don't worry about it, just make sure its not going to put coolant in the path of your tire
