Confused I am....

Just wondering if this is normal?

I did my first instructional track day last year at mosport...thought it was OK but nothing crazy exciting.

2 Weeks ago I gave the track 1 last shot to excite me, I lowsided on my second day out from a front end chatter then my right peg catching and popping the front up mid carousel at Grand Bend.

Now all I can think about is going back and doing more track days....wtf?
 
It's normal. We are genetically hardwired to endure suffering if it gives us a glimmer of thrilling satisfaction.

i.e., dating.

What's wrong with the DDT track? I rather enjoyed it. Granted, it's no big track or Calabogie calibre but I thought it was pretty fun and challenging. :)
 
I guess I scared (and enjoyed) myself MUCH more at Grand Bend.
 
Simple! You were subconsciously afraid that you'll crash and die. Then you crashed, survived, and the feeling you got from it is that it's not such a big deal if you crash after all. That mental block gone, now you can only think about the thrill you're getting from it. :)
