Compressor reg leak

Wanted to play around with some air tools but the reg seems to be leaking a bit of air from the knob itself. Soaped everything, and its the only leak. Not unuseable but definitely short-cycling. What would be causing the leak? Bad reg or am I not operating something correctly? Raising or lowering the pressure too far away from the 60psi sweet spot seems to make the problem worse.

Usually a hole in the diaphragm. It's fooked. Princess Auto is where I found a replacement for mine. Unless you want to spend $$$ on a Parker.

Thanks. I'll take a look at it tomorrow if I end up in the Dixie/401 area. Never used the thing for anything other than blowing dust out of electronics and inflating tires. Paid for itself many times over, might as well keep it going
