Cobra luggage rack & trailers

I have just received my Cobra laser cut chrome luggage rack for my VStar 1100 Classic & the load limit on this is 10lbs according to the sticker that is on it.
I am planning a 5-6 day trip which may consist of up to 2000km with my daughter & I have a large motorcycle luggage bag which may weigh 60-70lbs when loaded.
Has anyone put this amount of weight on a Cobra luggage rack with a VStar 1100 Classic as well as taking a passenger.
Or has anyone towed a trailer with a VStar 1100 Classic & if so how was it in terms of the bike handling.

The carrier will only be as strong as the bolts and what it is bolted to.
They are likely being conservative, but...

That doesn't help - how about one showing it mounted on the bike ?

The thing I am always most concerned with is how far is the weight offset (cantilevered) from the mounting points. The further back from the mounting point the lighter should be the load.
With the weight directly over the mounting points I would not think twice about exceeding 10 lbs. 60 sounds like a stretch.

You mentioned a trailer may be a possibility. I know a few people with these and are happy.
Rated to carry 100 lbs.

My bike is currently in the shop but when this is mounted it bolts to the sissy bar with a passenger backrest.
