Very happy customer here. If you look at their website, I can confirm they are the real deal. I trusted some fairly extensive frame mods (BMW airhead, steel) to these artisans and all came out good. Pleasure to deal with.

PS I know a guy who can put some pics up if need be.

Pics requested ... here they are! Fill us in on the details of what we are looking at here.

(I see lots of stiffener gussets)

The main backbone is oval and where it meets the steering head it is not connected to the down tubes at all. It just floats in between. So I put 3 plates in to tie it all together.
I put a tube inside the backbone and T'd it into the rear down tubes. The inside tube was built up with pieces of 1/4x1/4 stock to approximate an oval shape. You can see 3 stitch welds along the top tube. Those welds catch the pieces of 1/4 stock. These stitch welds are located on top, bottom and both sides.
I had CMR cut 1.75 inches out of the front down tubes. The connection is reinforced with a spigot inside and pinned. You can see the 2 circular welds and pins.
At the back, above the swingarm pivot, they cut thru the down tubes about 90%, applied heat and bent the frame down. To shore up that area an additional cross tube and square plates was added.

PS, you'll note a ring around the inner tube aft of main oval tube. That just ties all that together.

Thanx Brian.

I had Jim Dryden build the inner tube which I handed off to CMR to install. Denis was very impress with Jims' consistent welds on that. It's a big win all the way around so far:cool: The frame mods were my design so I'm just waiting to take a beating on that!

I worked with Jim for 15yrs at an aerospace plant. He still works there. Best welder I know. Good guy loves bikes.

As long as you haven't boxed in any places where cables or wiring harnesses have to go through, it ought to be OK!

Ah, come on, that's no fun. Tell me how I've moved all the stress points around and the tubes will snap, and the rake and trail is gonna put me in the ditch and the Krauts designed in the flex for a reason. For starters. LOL
