So i put my KX250 into storage. I quite literally wheelied it into the unit. I went back a month later to move it and my other bike into climate controlled unit. I couldnt start her so I was goign to bump start it.Well, In gear, even with the clutch in the back wheel was just locked up. In neutral yeah I could puck it but in gear, clutch in, back wheel locked up. Any ideas?

clutch plates stuck together, it happens to some bikes when stored for periods of time or in cold weather ...Warm it up and they should un stick, oil change could be a good idea also

Wow how many drinks did I have before I typed that post? lol. Anyway thanks for the reply, I was hoping it was something like that. It's in climate controlled storage now so hopefully it will loosen up, not that it was below zero for too many days outside though.

check that there isn't something in the wheel. I saw a guy rebuild an engine once. and found out the rear wheel sprocket bolt head had jammed against the swing arm.. he thought the engine was stuck..

The bike rolled in neutral. I had to push the damn thing for like a quarter mile

i had posted the same question about a month ago. same issue. it was plates sticking together with the cold.

Can u do a burnout to warm the clutch??
