Hey all. I am not affiliated in any way with Clarington Cycle, I am just a customer of theirs. I have to say that they have been the best bike shop I have dealt with in my 10 years of motorcycling. They are mostly a service shop, but do sell some dirt bikes and bikes on consignment.

I have been getting my bike serviced there for the past 2 seasons and have had nothing but great service. They have always gotten my work done fast! If they tell you that your bike will be ready same day or next day, they mean it. If they something is going to cost $200, they mean it. Doesn't sound that great, getting stuff done for when they said it would be done and for the price they quoted, but in my experience this is a rare thing for a shop! In the past I have brought my bike in to at least 2 different shops that tell me to drop off my bike on Monday and they might, MIGHT have it done by Thursday or Friday and that is for simple things like a valve adjustment or re-pack the shaft with grease.

I know that Clarington Cycle is quite a bit east for those of you in the down town area, but if you are in Whitby or farther east, give them a serious try, it will be worth it.

Just discovered this thread and thought I'd try to move it up the list. My name is Tom Coulby, I've known Mike for years and agree with all the comments made about honesty and integrity (and same applies to Ken, aka "kneedragger" and Tracy too, if you don't know them, you should). My son, Andrew has also worked at Clarington Cycle for years and just became a licensed motorcycle mechanic recently. With Derek and Andrew, you're guaranteed to get the best service possible at reasonable rates. Located in Hampton (near Bowmanville) at Old Scugog Rd and Taunton.

What Tom said. Thanks for the kind words too. Andrew and Derek are top notch wrenches with Mike is a good friend and a great shop owner cant say enough good stuff about these guys!
