So, I'm lookin to put a chrome fender on my 83 yamaha maxim 400, any idea where I can get one?
 
Call around some salvage shops. You might find one for your bike or one you can modify to fit.
 
try ted, he has an old beater at the side of the building, wont be pretty....but cheap! 416-241-2523
 
Did someone paint the fender that is on your bike now or do you need a replacement? The Maxim's came with polished stainless fenders front and rear (unless it was a midnight version). If it has bbeen painted you should be able to strip it down and re polish. If not I'd try Zdenos
