I know this is the time most of you are buying batteries, so I figured I'd pass these savings on.

I had a hell of a time finding a good deal on my battery.

Walmart: $97
Canadian Tire: $85
Riders Choice: $105
Saskbattery.com: $69.99(free shipping 3-5 days - best price online)
Flying Squirrel: $55 (In Stock!)

Anyone looking for a new battery should give Glen @ Flying Squirrel a call. He's straight up, got back to me in minutes, and has the best prices I could find anywhere in the city or online.

This is hardly a secret on GTAM, but worth repeating as Glen's deserving of the props!

Rd has cheap batteries as well if you are near one, you have to ask for the cheap one or they try and sell a yuasa though.

He sells other off-brands that I didn't see on the website. I ended up buying one of those (I forget the exact brand). He also offered me the Yuasa for $80.

And no, I wasn't comparing the same brand across the different places. I was just looking for a cheap battery. In my experience, even the cheap ones last ~5 seasons with proper maintenance, which is longer than I'll have the bike for.

Either way, it was nearly half the price of the Walmart Battery and almost 40% cheaper than the one at Canadian Tire(neither carrying a great name), so the deal is more than solid, in my eyes.

Walmart: $97(Everstart)
Canadian Tire: $85(Motomaster)
Riders Choice: $105(Yuasa)
Saskbattery.com: $69.99(Yuasa)
Flying Squirrel: $55(No Name) $80(Yuasa)

Just making sure.....

glad we have that cleared up

Because his price on the battery I needed this time around, was the same as at Walmart, however it takes me 3 minutes to get to Walmart, but almost an hour to get to FS.....however I did make the trip last year as he had the battery I needed in stock, so I took the drive.....dealer had it for more, 20 bucks, but not in stock and I did not want to wait a week....so it essentially cost me the same, but saved me a week.....

i have gone through many, many batteries. Whether multiple boat batteries lined together, cars, heavy trucks, motorcycle, atv, and so on.

i have yet to find a brand that gives consistent performance.
be it cheap, expensive, well-reviewed/poorly reviewed, its a complete crapshoot.

Did you call him, or just check the site?

I almost disregarded them based on what I saw on the site. It wasn't until I called that I found out about the less-expensive alternatives.
