That's a cottered chain, not likely used on a motorcycle, more likely on small equipment (tiller, snowblower, bailer) where the chain travels inside the machinery.
Cottered chains are used when the chain goes inside machinery housings making it hard to reach to the master link. They still have a have a master link, however, if it's buried you can pull the cotter pins and use brute force to pull a link apart. Won't be easy, the side plates are press fit, they don't drop out like the cover plate on a master link -- a fair amount of force is needed to separate a cottered link.
