5 yrs ago, you couldn't do better than a DID chain.
However, with EK's new ZST (pre stretched) chains, and odd-shaped sideplates with holes in them, there smply isn't a reason NOT to buy an EK chain.
I had one on a GSXR1000 for 3 yrs, much of themileage was also ridden with a single wheeled trailer in tow, and the chain only ever needed to be adjusted twice in the 3 yrs I had it......and it was still mint when I sold it.
Do the googling, and you'll see the EK ZZZ chains are the strongest chains int he world right now. 500 HP turbo Busas drag race on 530 sized EK chains.
I got one from Platinum Powersports, and another at Buestreak Racing. Both gave me good discounts off of retail.
The EK isn't an economical chain to buy, but it is an economical chain to own.....but if you are looking at $150-$200 chains anyways, you won't find a better chain for the money- yet.
