After years of riding and using Chain Guard brand chain wax (sprayed on) and tired of my chain being yellow due to the color I decided to try the clear version.
Original Chain Guard was no fling as it was a spray on wax (paraffin wax). Worked very well but after putting this clear synthetic on yesterday, I have NOTHING but bad things to say!
It flung EVERYWHERE, I did let it dry/sit for an hour before taking a boot around town. Flung ALL OVER my tire on the "chicken strip" area. It's so bad I don't even want to corner, let alone corner hard
Anyone else tried this specific can? What are your experiences? Here's a picture so you can avoid it like the plague! Sorry it's rotated, not sure why but I'm not fixing it.
I won't ever use it again so if you think you want it for free, we can meet up and I'll give it to you. I purchased it brand new from GP Bikes and just used it yesterday for the first time. My loss is your gain LOL ;-)
