I guess this is almost an hour ago now... thought something had punched a hole somewhere in the exhaust on my bike, but then it got past the point where my bike could be making that kind of noise. I looked up and there was a Chinook flying around... kinda unusual in Toronto. Could have flown out of Downsview I guess (I was leaving York U)... anyone know what it might be doing here?

The Chinook copter flew over the Oakville waterfront at what appeared a low level headed form Hamilton area towards TO. Bit of an odd sight.
 
I saw it while on highway 7 close to jane around 830 last night. It had running lights on so it was conducting an operation/exercise. But it was flying low.
 
Maybe they are for the D-day remembrance? It's June 6 today.

Probably related to that... guess it was just in transit last night. Wonder where it showed up today, then.
 
Way out here in the sticks.... helicopter that definitely wasn't civilian just went over me and rather low. Wtf?
 
Few weeks ago saw a really sweet plane flying low and cornering hard over pickering .. It was awesome, wish I saw this one
 
Probably just doing some exercises. The C130 comes to Peterborough airport almost every week to do different exercises and I've seen it out as far as Whitby/Markham.

A couple of years ago, I saw what looked like a fighter jet zooming around Kingston road in Scarborough. You can't mistake the sound.
