Hey all,

Just getting my M2 at the end of August. I'd like to buy a CBR250R/RA for my first bike. Wondering what kind of advice I can get on negotiating end of year bike purchases.

CBR250r lists for $4499. What should I be able to get as an all in price?

Thanks

Mark

I called Ready Honda Powerhouse I think last month and they said like 5800 out the door, which sounded to be exactly the price of a 250 ninja to me. You might want to try again, but they weren't really good about negotiating on the phone.

Yeah...I got the same in email from them but that's essentially MSRP with a crazy $750 freight and PDI charge tacked on.I'm not paying that much at the end of the year....they have one ABS version and a few non-ABS in stock...they aren't selling them at that price in September so wondering if anyone here has bought a new bike at the end of the year and gotten a deal....should I expect to pay list with no freight/PDI for 9instance? I'm a newb remember :)

If you walk in and have the cash they will be more willing to negotiate

Are you really set on a brand new bike, especially on a brand new small bike? Why not go to kijiji and buy a 1-yr-old bike for less? I am sure the more you wait, the cheaper it will be as more and more people will "outgrow their bike" and will "want to upgrade to SS" after one year.
