i got caught in rain today on my way back from work. Do i need to lube my chain now? The bike got dirty, so i cleaned that up.

What lube should i buy?

I like PJ1 blue label.

I have Motul and would lube it after riding in a lot of rain or after washing the bike. Won't hurt to lube anyway and you should be doing it every 500 km or so anyhow.

If it's an O ring or X ring chain, you NEVER need to lube the chain. That's the point in spending the extra money because the X or O ring keep the lube inside the chain. Therefore negating the need to "lube" the chain.

If you care about the life of your chain then disregard the mis-information of this post.

i lubed mine after getting caught in the rain
i'm pretty meticulous on lubing... lube after every other ride

PJ1 Blue here as well. I bought my bike and it came with a bottle, never had any problems so I just kept using and rebuying it.

I used to get mine from Canadian tire but they seemed to stop selling it????
Where do you guys get yours?
I bought some honda Chain wax and it seems to do an alright job Not much fling at all to the undertail but still the usual under the front sprocket on the fairing.

Most Canadian tire stores around London sell it, so I'd assume you can find it around t.o

It's often in little mini bike section they have.. Not with the rest of the oils/lubes

Royal distributing sells it yoo

I get mine from Cycle World Superstore. Service sucks, from what I heard, but the prices are okay for retail things.
