Catskill State Park - Thanksgiving long weekend or Oct. 7

Tempting to make a Catskill State Park run on the Thanksgiving long weekend. If anyone is interested, please PM me.

Leaving on Friday, October 7 and come back on Sunday October 9 so there is time left for the family on Monday.

Pending on weather outlook. If it is sunny and not too cold, it will be a go green.
 
I'm not sure if I will be able to take Friday off, cause I have tonnes of work to do. I will see closer to the mid of the week.
But, if you decided to leave at around 4-5 pm, then I would be sure coming!

We won't able to get to the 1st stop if leaving on Friday evening. The other option would be leaving on Saturday and come back on Monday. That was the original plan, but I was thinking many may want to be back for Thanksgiving Monday so I considered leaving on Friday.

The routes has been planned.

1st day - around 600 km to get there
2nd day - half day riding and maybe half day shopping at Woodbury Preium Outlet mall.
3rd Day - around 700 kms to come back.

I just PMed you but Friday is tough for me as well. The Sat to Mon would work better for me. Don't change your plans though whatever you come up with I'll see if I can swing it. If I can't then I'll see you on the next ride.
 
Ok, Saturday is the date for departure, and Monday returning date.

Nothing is concrete yet. I may want to stop over at Ithaca on the way back.

Yikes, The Catskills are going to be the new Lake Placid.
 
Next week is fine. I need to know how the weather is like for next weekend before deciding whether it is a go or not.

I might be interested in saturday, but need to split/ride back sunday. Where do you plan to
spend saturday night?
 
I will probably spend the night at the same place as last year. Then work my way back towards Watkin Glen to see the Water Falls. Here is the rouet I am planning.
