Carb prep for winter storage

Still trying to hunt down two more bikes to buy while prices are good. Came across a few that all need carb rebuilds due to past storage issues.

I can't understand why more folks don't stabilize the fuel or better, just reach under and drain each carb before storage.

Maybe they've read forum posts where people will tell you they never drained their carbs or used stabilizer and never had a problem.
