Can't wait for spring

I did the course in July and got my M2 in August, but insurance was so expensive that I decided to wait until the spring to even buy a bike. That was until I found a 1981 CB650 online going for $4K, and eventually talked the owner down to all that I could afford: $2K. I couldn't turn that down, and the bike rides great. Insurance is still pretty steep though, so I'm keeping her in the underground parking lot until spring and plan on just riding it around the lot in the meantime.

That being said, spring couldn't be farther away!

just curious how old are you if your saying insurance is that expensive? and do you have a clean record?
