Candy-free house sparks Halloween war of words

Good for him for the response, I totally agree with him.
The note was obviously written by the parents as no kid that can use the "rectify" fluently should be still trick or treating.
Its a shame that people get mad because someone isn't home during halloween.
For the past 3 years I have not handed out candy as I have been out with my daughter trick or treating.

A sense of entitlement at its best! Wow.

I doubt kids could write a note that coherent. It probably came from a soccer mom.

yeah, I reread the note. There are some pretty big words in there.

"Children of the hood" probably would have wrote something more like "your an *******. you better have candy next year or else were going to egg you're house"

The letter would have been in text-speak.........sort of like half the posts on GTAM.

I don't celebrate halloween so go screw yourself kiddo

This guy sounds so butthurt. I would've just been like, "well-played, kids. Well-played". Then I would've told them I was gonna leave candy on my porch 'cause it's pretty funny that someone called me out for not giving candy out on Halloween. (Same applies if an adult (pretending to be a kid)wrote it.

Why are these kids eatting candy apples that some old bird makes??

Some of the kids that come up are soo rude, and some are wayy too old to be trick or treating...and others have lame costumes.

I always have 2 sets of candy. The crap ones for the Crap trick or treaters...and the good stuff for the ones that deserve it.

...and then they complain some people put razorblades in candies

The old kids that dress up with like only a mask or no costume, I call them out and make them sing and dance "I'm a little teapot" in front of their friends if they want candy.
