Get tough on crime, build new prisons and now they're going to close Kingston Pen and the problem isn't so bad after all. Paul Bernardo gets a new home.
Do they tear the old place down or make it into Alcatraz north, a tourist attraction. How about a condo with the ultimate in security?

I was wondering about this..knowing someone in the prison-design business..what's the angle? Honestly, they're old buildings..there comes a point where it's not worth updating them..land is more valuable..ship'em somewhere else. Why that one? They have a lot of buildings..maybe they're the most costly?? Dunno..I'll try to get the scoop..
 
I see there is also a new immigration office being created in Calgary to service the west..closing the Vancouver office..

Waterfront in this case. Apparently the inmates get their jollies eyeing the babes at the local marina.
 
Also heard today that the Province is looking at doing away with court trials for parking tickets and other minor matters..would just be a hearing in front of an administrative officer..
 
For those who watched eqHD the other day .... let's just do what the Russians did with Nazimo. The small island located in rural no where Russia. Put them on the island with nothing and see what happens. Everyone's a winner. Justice is served, tax payers save money .... if we place hidden cameras on the trees, I bet this will make for the highest grossing show to watch which would boost our economy.

Come on! Who doesn't love Criminals Gone Cannibals!!?

There's actually an island like this off the coast of Panama, it's also a tourist attraction where trusted inmates serve food to tourists under guard. The inmates don't leave as the sea surrounding the island is full of sharks.
