Usually the girlfriend and I head over and watch the fireworks at whichever place is convenient, but this time we're going to do it a little bit different.
I'm buying a **** load of fireworks today and heading to the beaches tomorrow and put on our own show.
Should be fun!

I'm gonna go find a beaver and give it a kiss. :D

Good point but I wonder what the odds are? Probably discouragingly high. I imagine it would have a place of origin tag sewn in somewhere.
Everything i used was made in Canada.Even the stepladder

Sorry to go off in a tangent again.

Being a from a immigrant family, I have to say I am grateful of all the freedoms and privileges that this country provides. Honestly I take all of the blessings of this country for granted 99% of the time. And when I see from other parts of the world that freedom isn't like ours, it reminds me to be thankful. Many have died for the freedom and wealth we enjoy, and they are the big reason why Canada is still the greatest place to live. I am a spoiled brat but at least in this day, I gotta say: Thank you Canada.

Oh how am I going to celebrate? At home trolling on the interwebz!! haha.

I just spent 3 hours driving home from Sudbury area after spending a few days fishing and swimming..and I reflected on how very fortunate I am to have been born and raised and continue to enjoy some of the most beautiful country in the world.
