I'd say I'm fairly desensitized... It's hard to focus on how horrible the situation is when you're so focused on so many things in my job... So I guess I get a bit used to it.
The first time I saw a real headless body was a huge WTF moment, not simply because of the body but because of the situation.
Now, videos on the net... The Luka one didn't bother me aside from some of the sexual stuff because that was just plain out creepy. But for all that was shown on that video the dude was already dead aside from the first clip of him being tied up.
I HATE seeing beheading videos. It's not so much the wound, but it's the context of it, where it's usually a relatively innocent person getting it. I saw one from eastern europe, the kid was 18 and he suffered. And the one with the american soldier in the orange jump suit (I forget his name) that one was troublesome.
Suicide videos get at me too. But, the reason they get to me is the entire situation.
Now seeing the nasty results from car/bike accidents and the like, while they do suck, especially if the person is still alive but obviously done for aren't as bad... We all go sometime.
My mom is an ER nurse, and like me she is desensitized too.
