Everybody else with an iPhone seems to have it. As far as I can tell, it's a collection of foolproofed Photoshop filters with a built-in club so that everybody can ooh and aah over each other's "creations."

Am I missing something?

If you want to catch people who are looking up tweets by topic instead of by people, hash tags are the easiest way of targeting a topic. (I do not use Twitter)

That's exactly what it is. A filter that makes the picture look old school/retro. People think they're amazing photographers because they use a filter but don't know anything about composition!
