HI
just called jeff at gpbikes to sign up for a novice slot for track day at mosport on monday aug 6th,.
he told me i had to do a rad flush (engine ice??) before i can take my bike on the track.
he says its pretty easy but i dont want to learn on my 3 week old Honda CBF 600 (yes its a CBF) 1500km.
anyone interstd in helping me out,.
id offer to pay for your time and materials or buy you a case of beer or something.
im at leslie and 401 , but could come to you'\

it could be done today or tomorrow.
i just need to know if someone is willing to help before jeff at gp goes home for the day today, so i can book a slot for monday.

Please call me if you can help.
Hopefully, youll have done this before.
My bike was broken in well for the first 1000km but at 1500 is it too new for a trackday??

Getting the fairings off to get at the Rad cap is the real work. Flushing and changing to distilled with water wetter is a breeze.

Last time I worked on a honda though I was swearing so hard trying to get that side fairing to clip back into the plastic tank. If your comfortable taking the fairings off everything else is easy enough. I can give you a walk through over a coffee, but I'm booked sunday.

thx tornique,.
appreciate it but even if you have the patience of job, im so technically inept id find a way to mess it up. im taking a tech course soon but until then, im not comfortble putting my ow gas in.

perhaps my post should be titled leggy fashion model wants her hand held while being taught how to engine flush.

too bad im a guy

ok cant stay in...im going for a ride and cant answer my phone while riding, ill check voicemail periodically. thx

LOL, that would get you results for sure. But i'm not picky :agave:

Sounds like you have a bigger problem with the one piece though. Get that sorted first.

If your doing track the other thing you'll have to remember is that you will need painters tape to tape up the lights and mirrors.

Realistically speaking you should be heading into your first track day way over prepared.

Although it's probably not required you should be looking at a quality back protector as well.

What size suit are you looking to borrow/rent?
