Can I do better than this...?

Been with Cornerstone 4 years...16 years absolutely clean driving record, 5th season coming up on bike, M2 licence, 2010 Triumph Tiger 1050 SE ABS bike, 45 years old, university prof career. Live in Kingston ON (ie NOT GTA). No car or house to move across, just the bike.

Current quote for all perils just came in from Intact with 1 mill liability and $300 deductibles from Intact at $1183

Anyone in a similar situation and has saved any cash over this sum or shall I just suck it up and pay it. I think this isn't too much of a change from last year, maybe $100 more.

Any agents here think they can do better with a similar plan, save me some reasonable cash and you get my business, PM me.

OK..so just checked, looks like the price has gone up around $180 from last year.

I don't seem to be being rewarded for living in a low crime area with a clean record here. Hmmm.

Yep...just spent the last 20 mins on phone with TD and holy **** if it isn't $500 cheaper!!!

Jebus....that's without bringing a car or house across or anything and only a small increase in the deductible ($500 compared to $300) AND with having the extra fancy dancy bike rental coverage AND increasing my liability to $2 mill.

I'm as happy as a pig in ****!!!!!

Yeah, just switched from Intact to TD as well, $814 vs $450

I just switched everything over to TD. 2 cars, home and motorcycle. Saving me about 300 PER MONTH vs State Farm. Yes, per month, not per year!

Home with TD is going to be $19/month, weird thing is though when I said central alarm, monitored it was $20/month Will probably switch auto over to them when it is up even though it is a little more expensive than where I am now, as I think I get a discount with it all there?!
