There has always been a laughable issue with the C3 where the visor will not stay in a partial open position. The company claimed it was a safety feature.....nah just a bad design. Can be fixed for $35 here and annoying but will suck it up. It will be the third one.
There are a couple of hacks with an earplug. Might try that first.
I would like a new visor but it runs $150 here for the proprietary design ....
NOW tho...the mechanism that holds the full front of the helmet open is failing.....it will drop closed on it's own which is a pain especially when photographing..
Has anyone tried to tighten that hinge?
I don't have the funds to buy a top end convertible - I tried a Shark Evo but hated the visor coating...optically blurry.
I'll likely suck it up and replace the C3 visor for nearly $200 with the friction fit repair kit and the clear visor....and that's without sorting the droopy lift.
OR
the home grown helmet line for a similar price point new shipped all in. Been around for $179.

I suspect that will be the route.
