Can we? The nets full of bikes for sale but we're supposed to be under lock down. What's the drill?
Have my eye on KLX250 just not sure how to proceed.

Buying and selling vehicles is one of the exceptions from the lockdown. This is lockdown in name only (as with all other Ontario lockdowns/shutdowns/colours it is mostly theatre).
Great! Where's that info come from GG?

Yes I have bought 3 bikes in the last 2 months from 3 different brands /dealers

Link below is always a good place to check for the official rules.

In retail businesses allowed to be open vehicle sales are listed. "Includes cars, trucks and motorcycles; recreational vehicles including motor homes; trailers and travel trailers; boats and other watercraft; and other motorized vehicles, including power-assisted bicycles, golf carts, scooters, snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles"

They don't specifically list private vehicle sales. There is a reasonable argument that if vehicle sales are necessary during a lockdown, they are necessary regardless of the source. By including the list of toys that are obviously not necessary for life-safety in the short term, Douggie looks like a stupid oaf. Stop pretending it's a lockdown. It is so far from that. This is a mandated inconvenience at best.

I have purchased 8 since all this crap started. 3 this week Including a KLX250 yesterday. Some private some auctions. Auctions are a little hard to pickup and pay now. No cash allowed.

Awesome! ...You’re making me look bad ..

New bike sales are booming, and popular models are nearly sold. Try finding a new dirt bike 125cc or bigger. From what I understand the demand is far outweighing supply, not hard to imagine as used are listed for more than new lately.

BAU.

I’ve bought a new ATV, from a dealer, an enclosed trailer from an RV dealer, and 2 private sale motorcycles in the last 30 days.

Service Ontario is trouble as the hours are cut in half where I live, I’ve started to use the to Stouffville location - regular hours and the staff are well trained.

Sold my tent trailer after I'd taken pictures, but before I posted it for sale.

Everything I seem to want, resides in Quebec. That's probably still a no-no.

Special rules for travel into ontario from qc or MBA (although I think ontario plates get you in). Iirc, qc has rules for going in but I havent looked at them. Flying is federal jurisdiction so legally, you can probably fly to qc and ride back.

Can just cross into Ontario at Ottawa. City decided it was too costly, and the roadblock only lasted a day. There are lots of people traveling back and forth daily.

Business as usual.

I did have one snag, I ordered some gaskets and cables from Snow City, apparently they won’t ship incomplete orders, gonna take 4 weeks to get my parts.
