Buying a used Bike from Montreal.

Hey,

If this question is on the forums, Please direct me. I couldn't find it.

I'm thinking about getting a used bike that is located in Montreal. I live in Toronto. Any thing I should be concerned about?

Would the whole process be any different? Paperwork, Safety tests, Etc.

The biggest thing is to ensure it has a CLEAR title .. not branded in any way.

I know of 2 people now that have been very disappointed when they got their bike back here to register it.

Exactly! I know someone who was dissapointed as well! Also remember no way of tracing the odometer history on the bike, not like a uvip here.

I got burned by going to Ottawa for a "clean" bike that ended up being junk. Make sure the bike is in the condition they say it is.

I headed up to Montreal this past January to see a brand new 09 ZX6r at a dealership...However, there were marks/scratches all over the frame, etc.
So make sure it is in the condition the seller states.
