It looks to be in decent shape. Fair bit of sand in some corners right now but the road surface is pretty good. This is about 30km or so of pretty decent twisty road in an area with some nice riding roads. The part near highway 15 after the (single lane slightly rickety wooden) bridge if you’re coming from Battersea, is a bit straighter. Have lunch at the Creekside Inn in Battersea before running the road, it’s a nice place with a decent patio.

I love me some Burnt Hills Road. Just wish it was longer!
Needs to be linked with other roads agreed. I’d do highway 15 to Battersea rd along burnt hills, maybe stop at Creekside for lunch, then north on Battersea rd, stop at Jones falls for a swim in the old turning pool at the locks and some ice cream, back onto 15 N, then turn off onto Chaffeys locks rd for a nice picturesque ride. That would be a fun few hours.
