Burlington Humane proudly presents The 5th annual "RUFF" RIDE a charity motorcycle ride and after-event open house and BBQ. On Sunday September 22nd, 2013 this fantastic event will bring together animal lovers and motorcycle enthusiasts to raise money for a great cause.
NEW IN 2013....To celebrate our 5th year we are doing a special "OBSERVATION RIDE" . This fun and unique ride features the chance to win prizes just by riding! Riders will be provided a ballot at the end of the ride with questions about what they observed along the route - those who answer correctly will be entered into a draw for a chance to win some exciting prizes! Ride the route on your own (at your own pace) OR join one of our led groups OR ride in the group that you came with. The entire route will be clearly marked with signs once out of the city and a route map will be provided. So join us for a beautiful 2-2.5 hour scenic fall ride followed by a fun after event including live music, licensed beverage area, BBQ, a silent auction, 50/50 draw and other games, plus tours of the shelter and more! All funds raised will go directly to aiding the animals that come into our care.
