For those who are still using Tapatalk to access GTAM, I have a question - have you tried visiting the forum in your mobile browser instead?

The mobile version of the site is full featured and when accessed on a mobile device, feeds a specific mobile friendly version.

I'm just curious what the appeal of the app is for some who are still using it vs visiting via the browser.

Hmmm, no, I don't believe so. Is this one appeal of the app?

We could perhaps look at installing a dark style that members could switch back and forth to perhaps, depending on their preference.

I think the goal at this point based on a chat with Cutekill is to fix Tapatalk, assuming it's fixable (apparently the integration with Xenforo has never been great based on what I've been reading), but we could keep the dark style in our back pocket as another option as well.

Interactions and typing/navigating the forums on the app is way nicer and functional than a web browser. Plus no ads!

Not interested I will just quit the forum instead if Tapatalk stops working. It lets me post photos and keep the forum and messages organized. When the vertical scope forums dropped Tapatalk I just stopped visiting it is too much of a pita without Tapatalk.

Yes, I know.
We were asked why we like the app.
I provided my reasons.


I think a decision needs to be made whether or not the app will continue to be supported as a viable option.

Please let us know.
