I know my options in toronto, but I'm looking for a place in Buffalo.

Thanks

Careful. I have heard tale of Buffalo shops installing 4 new tires on a Cdn car, then calling the border with the plate #....the border waits till the car arrives, and asks for declarations. If the tires aren't declared, the car driver is in a world of trouble.

Not taking my car and I'm not worried about the border. Just looking for recommendations on a shop in Buffalo to install tires on my bike.

Thanks

Yes I can see how this improves their business .

I have heard another tale .A person went over to the states .Had great customer service with a great price.Came home and was very happy .

Going with a place called Big Ed's Motorcycle Repair. Its $100 to get the tires mounted so not a great deal but its a reputable shop. I spoke to him on the phone and he seemed pretty honest and up front. Either way with the amount I'm saving on tires I'm still ahead by about $100 after.

What kind of tires are you getting that you end up saving 100 in the states?

I used to bring tires from the states back in the day but ever since the gta tire war its no longer worth the time or effort for me..

A set of Michelin Pilot Road 4's. $275 USD shipped, cheapest I could find them here was $420 CAD shipped.

www.Speedworxsuberbike.com

$286 a set with OTSF
$85 installed on the bike with waterless wash and wax, chain service and inspection report.
$371 plus HST out the door serviced while you wait.

Tires are in stock, no shipping fees, waiting, driving across the border. If you call early enough in the morning to book an appointment you can probably have the tires installed tommorow.

I emailed you about two weeks ago and didnt get a response when I asked about price.

I'm paying about 384 US total, so its still a couple bucks cheaper since I won't be paying HST and your price may go up based on size. I'm going to rip around in PA anyways so crossing the border is no skin off my back.

People just don't learn

People just don't read.....I am going to the states for a tour anyways and I didn't get a quote anywhere close to that when I was calling around last week.

I started this thread to see if anyone knew a buffalo tire installer, not one post even attempted to answer my question...
