Brulington ribfest!

How are the prices? I went to the ribfest at Centennial Park in Etobicoke a few years back and it was $20 for a rack  retarded, never again

It amazed me how people treated the booths like carnival rides consuming entire meals from every booth. Then again it explained their figure.

Try getting a rack at a restaurant for that much. If you knew how much prep and cooking time those ribs take, you'd be wondering why they don't cost more.

You can get a full rack at restaurants for about $18-23, and it'll come with sides.. and chairs and tables if you want em. Just sayin? But yeah, Im no BBQ rib master so I dunno what really goes into it.

Sure, if you like the taste of boiled pork slathered with Kraft bbq sauce. Most people don't care since they don't know what properly smoked, slow-cooked bbq ribs taste like.

If you think what they're conveyor-belt "grilling" (for lack of a better word) and pushing on the public standing in line at these ribfests has anything to do with the marinated and slow cooked ribs that won them the fancy trophies they use as lures displayed by the grills.......well, I have some slightly inland waterfront property in Florida you may be interested in.

Not all the vendors are great, but a few are very good and better than anything you can get at any chain restaurant which is what people eat. On a side note, you seem to assume things about me yet we've never met or spoken. Not that I care to or anything.

where in burlington is it? can someone send me a link, i went to the ribfest in waterloo and i cant get enough!!!!

Bikes congregate on a grassy area at the corner of Elizabeth Street and Lakeshore. Basically irectly across from the Charcoal Pit Burger joint. It's just where all the bikes seem to park and it's only a minute walk from the Ribfest.

It was $20 for a full rack last year and that will definately fill you up. Best bet is to buy half racks for i believe $10 and sample at least a couple of different vendors.
