Broken speedo cable help needed

My speedo cable broke so i am about to replace it but the part that sits inside the hole by the wheel is broken and a little bit of it is poking out and i cant pull it.. Mind you its hard to reach in there.. I will show a picture of new cable and the metal part you see is what is stuck inside

I am trying to tug on it with needle nose pliers but no luck

Haha easier said then done. I cant get my hands on there.. Its tight as a frogs ass!!!

Maybe you can super glue something to it and pull it out?

Took the wheel off and got it off. Thanks to those that responded
