I was looking at replacing the front master on my 07 gsxr 600 with a brembo unit and came across some that are off ducatis. Would any of these be worth trying? I know the 07's have an issue but I believe my master now is off an 08 and was wondering if these have the same problems?

the ducati OEM units are no better than your OEM GSXR unit

you want a 19X20 or 18X20 true brembo

Ok thanks! What's the difference between the 19 and 18 for feel?

19x20 is a stiffer feel with less lever travel

18x19 is a softer feel with more travel (this is closer to the OEM feel)

I prefer the 19x20 but I think the 18x19 is more popular

They also now have the RCS line of masters, that are adjustable pivot....Your supposed to be able to switch between the 2 different feels...However having used some they are not 100% the same as a true 19x20 on that setting....At least that is what Ive felt

+1

I much prefer the standard units to the RCS

I agree with reciprocity on getting a "true" Brembo master... However, if budget is a concern, I will mildly disagree with the assessment that the Brembo stockers are the same as the other stockers, but that is just my experience on my ZX10, cannot speak to your ride.

To add to the list of bikes to check out (other than Ducati), I believe 2005 and newer R6 and R1 bikes came with stocker Brembo M/C.
