Brampton/Woodbridge Rider - getting tired of riding alone!

Hi Everyone,

I've been on this site for a while now, reading peoples' posts and learning new things all the time. This is my first post although i've been scowering the site for a while lol...my first post on this site or any other site for that matter lol :rolleyes:

I'm from Brampton/Woodbridge edge right beside 427 N and hwy 7 and have been riding since last season. I have a 2012 Yamaha fz6r 600cc, which is also my very first bike. I know and have read alot of posts about starting off with 125 or 250cc, but I am a very conscientious person and took almost a year to pick and choose this bike also taking into account my maturity and riding skill plus financial investment.

I've put on about 5,000 km on this bike and tired of riding alone lol like many others that are new to the riding circuit. If anyone wants to meet up or get together for future rides or has any advice as to what things are available, all advice is very much appreciated!!

Riding a bike has been a dream of mine since I was 5 years old....nothing gives me as much happiness as riding!!!

So hello to all and would be awesome to ride with some of you!!:cool:

im on gore/don minaker so actually very close! who knows i've probably seen you already lol but ya always good to meet up with someone nearby and go on new routes! we shall definitely ride soon!

Sodhi, thank you for the welcome! I'm usually driving down that area towards forks of the credit so we'll definitely make a group sometime soon and go for a spin!

ajatt... thanks for the welcome! I'll definitely post more now that I've started and am always ready for a ride just a little busy till sept 5th cuz of exams but after the 5th all bike riding hell is breaking loose!! LoL

phoenix, what is ur ride?
there seems to be a few rides out this weekend. i iam thinking takin on the ride down to n falls.
if ur free the rest of this week im free after 1pm?
 
I from your area as well, I'm up for a ride anytime, have flexible work schedule. Just pm or post something up.
 
tc moto.. sorry for the late reply but I'm just clearing a couple of exams out of the way before but ya
i have a Black 2012 yamaha fz6r 600 cc, I am good to go for this weekend and even friday for that matter I hope the weather holds out or it gets the rain over with tomorrow!!

Kevin z06...whereabouts are you in brampton/woodbridge?? what rides are out there for this weekend? I have never attended a ride so I don't know what the protocol is for joining up :(

tc moto here, im on a bandit 1200s location mcvean/castlemore. protocol simple just sign in with ride in effect that suits your skills. then meet at location and time. also just found out need to work saturday, but still up 4 ride after 1pm.
 
how does on sign in?? is there an online sheet or u just meet up at the meeting spots?? I'm working saturday as well but will keep checking the threads to see if theres any meets!

you just reply to the thread with you would like to join in . then they set a meeting place and you show up. simple
 
Most days head up to the Forks of the Credit and you can find a rider to hook up with including me a few times a week.
Kid on his new Fz8 and I are heading to Lake Placid this weekend but lots of riding left for the year. I'll be one of the few December riders about :D
