welcome

Curiosity, I was not a part of that class. Regardless of price and year, those 250s are great. You'll have a blast, congrats and be safe out there!

Not sure how much OP paid but when I was looking at these 250's from snow city they were clearing inventory for $3995 +taxes. 2012's btw. I'm sure he got a great deal. Congrats!!

What he said. Got it from snow city. Great deal I couldn't pass it up. He has 9 left and you don't pay and freight or pdi. Just 3999 plus tax.

Couldn't even find them that cheap on kijiji for used

Great pickup. If SnowCity was closer I would have gone there to get my ZX6R as they have some good deals on all 2012 stock it seems. Anyone buying a used Ninja 250 just doesn't make sense with the deals on the old stock new 2012s. People asking outrageous amounts for used 250s. Plus another good thing is that most 2012 Kawasaki's now have 2 year warrantees.

You can easily find a pregen (before '07) ninja for 2k. Sure they don't look as sharp, and they have 16 inch wheels, but they're still damn good bikes. Or you can even go for a zzr250 (the ninja 250r's fraternal twin) which has 17inch wheels and a few other minor farkles. Both can be had for 15-2500 regularly.

08+ 250's aren't the only 250's beings old, so don't group them all into the same price range.

Plus, there's also taxes. You can declare whatever price you want on a private used sale; but on a dealership buy you have to pay taxes on the full.

Congrats and welcome! Good choice on the Ninja 250 for a first bike :)!

Congrats. I just bought the same bike (same year, same colour, same price). Can't wait to get out there.
