Bought my first bike today, Vulcan 500

Hi all,

Im here to introduce myself. My name is Chris, 23 years old from east end of Toronto. I rode around the city last summer with a Yamaha Bw50 scoot with an Italian olive (flat green) paint job. Im glad to say that I purchased my first bike today, 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. This is my first forum as well and I look forward to being active in the gtamotorcycle community with group rides and such. I have followed some of the threads on cross country trips and hope to do something of the same i the future. For now though I will just stick to Ontario. I am counting the days till the riding season.

Welcome to GTAM. A friend of mine rides a '03 Vulcan 500, it's a good bike.

Now you get to have fun waiting for the nice weather to come.. :(

Thank you all. I spent a lot of hours trolling through the forums and the internet in general before deciding on this bike. I have always liked the cruiser/street styling and figure the the 500cc engine is big enough to learn on for a couple of seasons without feeling antsy to upgrade. Just dying to get out on the road though.
