Bottom fairing cracked!

what bike is it? who serviced it?
 
They look like hairline cracks. Perhaps you bought the bike used recently and the old owner painted over the cracks so you wouldn't notice, and now the vibrations, etc. have chiselled away that thin layer of paint holding it together?
 
Its a GS500f 2008. I self service it. Got it in April, put on 10,000. Had both tires Changed, installed brakes, spark plugs, changed oil etc myself.

I took off the fairings a couple of times and washed them properly, would have noticed had that been the case.

Am I blind or do I see some pretty big scratches close to the crack?

Trust me these are cracks, i checked them. They move apart from the surface given a bit of pressure. I took out the plastic and made sure they are cracks.

Circled in red, those are not scratches from an impact?
