Booked my M test!

Just booked my M test today. Scheduled for May 15 at 10:15am in Brampton. I just wanted to make a post since I haven't been on GTAM in a while, and I figured this was a good enough reason to drop in.

The only thing that's worrying me slightly is that I'll be tearing down and rebuilding my bike in April once I've finished my degree. I'll have plenty of time to do it since I won't be studying or working, but parts can take time. I should be ok though, as long as I plan properly.

Other than that, I need to go through the route, make sure I have a look at the checklist, and hope that I pass. It'll be nice to not have to worry about my license, and be able to go down to Deal's Gap later in the month with it taken care of.

I'm also due for my M this season, I'm eligible as of April, but I'll probably be doing a course some time later in the summer.
Anyways, good luck with the test. As long as you plan ahead of time, you'll be OK!

Cool, i'm going a couple of weeks before you.

Hope your bike is ready and you don't have problems with parts.

Don't bother going "through the route" because they can change it at any given time. Fact, read the thread. Only thing you should be concerned with is the weather. :)

Good luck.

I know it's been said 1000 times before but the M is primarily an observation test. Observation, pay attention and exaggeration. Signal, put a foot down when you stop, did I say observe?

Good luck with your rebuild, hopefully it goes smoothly for you.

You'll do fine. Road tests are jokes compared to degree tests. You don't go into a road test with an 80, study for week or two straight, and come out with a 70. (UofT *cough*).

Why are you rebuilding your bike?

You've seen it, you know it needs it. :p

And why not? Need to do the valves, might as well get in there and make sure everything's up to snuff. Good chance to really learn my bike in and out too.

I did my M in a huge downpour! But I passed ans so did all the people I took the course with.

I have my full M test booked as well... May 18th weekend.. in Guelph.. I can't wait! Good luck! :))

Thanks for the reminder! Just booked in Kitchener on May 9th.

Step 1: Wait for snow to melt;
Step 2: Brush up again on all the things I've neglected since the 'learn to ride' course...

I'm not eligible for my M until October however, should i be booking now for it? I plan on doing it at humber again

It was $75 through the ministry.

I did take the M1->M2 'learn to bike' course, so I'll try my luck with the ministry tests. There are some great resources on this site for that - I just found the test rubric!
