I like what they decided to do with the M. I want this now.. lol
I'd like to see a dyno graph comparison against the current S1000R motor before I make that conclusion. I will also attest that the Euro5 regs kill the low/mid power on the S1000R engine but a exhaust and tune make a huge difference to bring it back in a big way (could be similar to the M version).Great track bike, would be way too peaky and racy for the street(even with the fancy cams).
naw with shift cam it's not nearly as peaky as my XR.Great track bike, would be way too peaky and racy for the street(even with the fancy cams).
Delivery to dealers starts in April i believe. The BMW stock finder does not list either of the M bikes.
What do you want to know?Still not too much media out there about this bike.
This lucky guy got to pick his up a few days ago.

It’s an improved s1kr chassis with the XR motor as I recall.Nothing specific, just more media. I am more than interested in the Competition model. I was told not to expect anything until June. I hope that isn't true.
LOL..... I can't tell if he likes it or not.....These are finally out there. Here is one of the first reviews I could find of the Competition model.
