im helping my gf look for gear. She's looking for a black and pink jacket but the icon and Jo rocket only make ones in textile and I'd prefer her in leathers. She has never been on a bike before but is planing on taking the course and getting a ninja 250.

If anyone know of a company that makes a black and purple or black and pink leather jacket please let me kno

I would say this is your best bet for what your askin, Not leather but something to consider.

A high denir textile offers a very high level of protection, just saying.
 
I have the Joe Rocket heartbreaker jacket in the black and pink. I know its textile but it has done a good job for me and having 2 zippers in the front one mesh liner and the other closing the front is an added bonus on the hot summer months with extra ventilation.
 
Teknic used to make a black silver and pink suit, but the jacket was awfully short in the body. I'd take another look at the ballistic nylon jackets. They are really good nowdays.

Custom you'd have a hard time reselling if she doesn't take to the sport.
 
I have the Icon jacket that you're looking at and all in all it's a good jacket. I bought a leather jacket this year because I wanted to have both, and I looked up and down to find a nice looking black and hot pink leather one and didn't like anything I came across...good luck to your lady in finding something she likes :)!
