Biker Vs Flying Mattress

This means it got obliterated by the 18wheeler most probably

You know I just don't understand the mentality of anyone who would attach a mattress or sheets of drywall to the roof of their vehicle and then proceed to get onto the highway. They have no idea what force a 100kph blast of wind will have on the load. If it will not fit inside your vehicle you should cough up the $$ for delivery.

Whenever I see anyone with anything tied to their roof, I move out from behind them as quickly as possible, whether I am riding or in my truck.

I have taken drywall and mattress on the top of my vehicle safely because I drove safely and SECURED it with proper straps.

My favorite dodgy load was a car-topper (boat), flying about 18" above the roof of a van. It seemed stable enough in flight, but obviously they had a problem with the straps, hopefully the straps held until they got to their destination.

For the above video, I would definitely be calling the cops and getting those idiots charged for failure to properly secure load.
