bike wont start, did i **** the electrical???

i have been having battery issues/starting issues but havent had time to work on it ... that was meant for later in the weekend.

Today i needed an oil change so did that, after wanted to turn the engine over and the battery wasnt giving any power... enough to make noise but not turn over engine.

I tried hooking it up to the the autostarter/jump starter to give the battery some extra, done this 3-4 times in the past and worked fine. Saw a spark and then everything seemed to go dead.

No go ... no lights or anything. So i figured the battery was dead, went down and picked up a new one + tender and fully charged it. Hooked it up to the bike and nothing. I though it might be a fuse so i looked them all over but they seemed good.

Looking at the troubleshooting guide in my manual under section ENGINE DOES NOT START:

Engine motor wont turn
-Engine stop switch off
-Clutch lever not pulled in and transmission not in neutral
-Fuse blown
-Battery Leads do not make good electrical contact with battery terminals
-Battery Discharged

I dont think this has an computer or fancy electronics but did i blow something? I dont see any sign of life AT ALL.

Am i missing something? I appreciate any help provided.

Thanks

Did you actually pull the fuses, including the main ones, and examine each one?

yes i pulled all 10-12 fuses in the fuse box ... but didnt know about the MAIN FUSE :D makes sense now because the fuse box had all 10AMP fuse plus two spare ... a 10 and a 30amp ... i didnt know wtf the 30 was for

I found and replaced the main fuse and it was purring like a kitten, THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE HELP :D!!!!

I was bummed all day, fixing this issue really raised my spirits.

30 amp main fuse is located usually next to or on the start relay.

Looks like a pretty tough one to crack and to understand, i would recommend you to take the car to a good technician so that he will give you proper advice and help you in getting things rectified.
