Bike trailer anti-theft options?

I don't know if this is the right section to ask this, but can you recommend some kind of anti-theft thingy that is cheap or even made with spare parts in order to prevent the theft of my small bike trailer from the driveway?

Park it the backyard?/ doubt the trailer will be stolen over the bike.

Bike is safe, it doesn't stay on the trailer in the driveway.

That's certainly an idea. But what about the wheel locking thing that I put in the second post?

Well 2nd idea could work, but if they really wanted the trailer they could unbolt the wheels - will be useless. What's so special about the trailer that someone might be interested in stealing it?

Nothing special with the trailer, I just don't want it to get stolen before I get to use it even once (it's gonna be a long winter until track season)..

I've used something similar to your second post for years on my snowmobile trailer and also one that goes up into the ball portion of the coupler. It keeps the honest / lazy thieves away.

A cheap Canadian tire bicycle u-lock thru the rim and up on the top side of the axle on the back of the rim. Hard to explain but it works great and rim cannot be removed.

Yeah, thought about that, but there are no holes in the rim for the u-lock to go through..
