BIke Stand Question

Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a noob question...

So I just purchased a set of bike stnads (front and rear) for my CBR600RR

My front stand doesn't use spools so my question is:

I am wondering if my front stand could be used on my buddy's kawi ninja250R (for the back) ? His Kawi doesn't have spools at the back and the tire width of the kawi looks as thin as my honda's front tire thats why I am wondering if I could just put my front stand on his Kawi's rear?

Bets bet would be to put the stand to his bike and see how it fits?
There are a couple different types of front stands.... So it might come down to what type of stand you have.
