Bike problems, suggestions?

Hey guys so I have a little dilemma hoping I can get some input as what could be wrong. I have a 2000 gsxr 600cc been riding all season. Last few days it's been acting up where it would stall randomly when I'm in neutral or first. I've been meaning to take it in this weekend but while I was riding to work it died completely. Lost all power as bike shut off, thankfully I was not on a highway so was able to steer myself from any cars. Had it towed to Z1 in Richmond Hill now awaiting on a diagnostic which won't happen till next week as they're backed up. Interesting thing is that when it originally died, there was no power at all but once I took it off the flatbed, it started up. Clearly not the battery, what could it be? Any suggestions?

Did you check your battery connection terminals?
May have been loose.

Await diagnostic results - repair/replace as required!
If it's already at Z1, what can internet speculation do?

Battery? Regular/Rectifier?
and 1+ for above, pointless now. lol
