Bike parking rules in Montreal?

I've parked my car overnight on Sherbrooke near St. Denis without any problems.
 
Same laws pretty much apply to motorcycles in Montreal as they do here. You can pretty much park anywhere, as long as its not blocking an entrance, ticket dispensor, or fire hydrant (and anywhere else common sense dictates).

I'm also going to be in Montreal this weekend (F1 race?) and have decided it will be safer to park my bike in an underground parking lot at one of the hotels. Between not being 100% sure where you can park it, the weather (now supposed to rain) and vandalism, theft it just seems to make sense to pay the extra dollars. Not sure exactly which hotel I'll park at. Will check out a few and see if one has a spot for bikes near the attendant or some other safe spot.
 
Just make sure you have theft on our bike. Guy I know parked his escalade at a d-t hotel and it was gone in the morning.
