Was browsing through the Canadian Tire clearance section and it seems some useful things are on sale. Maintenance and general upkeep stuff.

This is at the Albion location in Etobicoke so set your store location to that store to see correct prices. Most locations are kind enough to price match but YMMV as always. If you're familiar with RFD you're also likely familiar with StockTrack.ca, helps you find inventory at a location closer to you.

Summary of interesting items below, if you've used them before, would love to hear about it. I'm always looking to cultivate a garage full of half filled cans that my children will inevitably have to sort through upon my death...

It's off and it needs to go on:

J-B Weld Perma-Lock Medium-Strength Threadlocker, Blue, 6-mL @ $6.43
Permatex® Original Cold Weld Steel Reinforced Epoxy, 2 x 28-g @ $6.93
Permatex® Flow-Mix Self-Mixing 5 Minute Epoxy, 14-mL @ $5.93
Q-Bond Ultra Strong Adhesive Kit with Reinforcing Powders @ $9.93
Rapid Fix UV Liquid Plastic Adhesive, 10-mL @ $9.93
Permatex® High Performance 565 Thread Sealant, 50-mL @ 6.93

It's on and it needs to come off:

WD-40 Multi--Use Handyman Lubricant Toolkit Set, 3-pc @ $8.93
WD-40 RVcare 3-in-1 RV Bug and Tar Remover, 425-g @ $9.93

Cleaning & Maintenance:

SIMONIZ Trim & Plastic Car Restoration Spray, 250-mL @ $6.43
SIMONIZ Waterless Car Wash & Wax Spray, 454-g @ $7.93
Nu Finish Trim Doctor Car Trim Protectant & Restorer, 355-mL @ $8.93
WypAll Waterless Car Cleaning Wipes, 50pc @ $8.93
STP Cleaning & Engine Degreaser Wipes, 30-pk @ $6.93
Dry Coat Rust Preventative, 16-oz @ $7.93
STP Fuel Stabilizer + Water Remover, 473-mL @ $11.43
Sea Foam Fuel Cleaner Value Set, 2-pk @ $14.99

The only thing on your first list that goes anywhere near my bikes is thread locker.
Epoxy kits get you home, where you can fix it.

Except for SeaFoam I don't see anything in the third category that can't be replaced with a good ride in the rain.

You need a 20l pail or Rotella.

My favorite thing to buy at hardware stores is a tool that I'll only use once, then store it somewhere and then forget where I put it, so the next time I need it months or years later, I end up having to go back to the store to buy it again.

Then when I store the tool someplace where I think it should go, I find the old tool right there.

I meant me.

I'm the old tool, standing right there holding two of the same implements, one in each hand.

I like to find a place for everything. Then when I need something I can't remember It's place and spend an hour looking for it. That search can (and has) happened 2 or 3 times before the "new place" finally gets lodged in my brain.

I try to avoid Canadian Tire like the plague. The Albion store isn't terrible as far as Canadian Tire's go. The most depressing store I've ever been inside is the Rexdale Blvd / Kipling Store.

Done that lately a couple of times. When the grandkids come over, i hide the stuff they could hurt themselves with. Last time, i hid my box cutter in a cupboard and found the laser pointers they like to flash in each other's eyes. Lol.

My dad at various times was a machinist , deisel mechanic, farmer and a Naval officer . His bench / garage / toolbox was beyond organized. I'm not that fixated , but I know exactly where I put it, if the spousal unit relocates it , all bets are off . But I can walk to the exact shelf where i sat the 3 jaw 12" hub puller , if its now adding height to a planter box , well thats a different conversation.

I guess I’m going to the cupboard looking for my laser measure.
