Any riders know of BCs icbc for rates for motorcycle insurance? Apparently I need to drop into one of their offices to receive a quote.

R6 yr. 2001; age:25, 5 yrs riding exp, g2/M license, clean record, live dt w/ secure garage.

Dirt cheap compared to Ontario. I was paying around $1,100 for a GSX-R 2006 at 21 with a class 5 (BC's M).

Get the basic coverage from ICBC and the extra coverage from a private company like intact, ect and you'll save even more.
 
I just moved here from BC, 25 YO clean record. 2008 GSX-R750 2 mil liability and collision comprehensive, 180 a month. The good news is that you can walk in and buy 3/6/9/12 months upfront. So really you only pay for the time you're riding. ICBC will give you 5% off every year you hold a Drivers license whether you have insurance or not. WAY WAY less cash grabbing.
